Do you just love blueberries? Because i do! This past summer, we picked them from a field so you can imagine, blueberries galore, you eat more than you pick! So today, i pulled some out of the freezer and made some jam! Nothing special but it sure tastes amazing! On a piece of toast or in a cup of tea...
I simply just added 4 cups of blueberries to a pot, along with 4 tablespoons of xylitol and walla, blueberry jam. Using xylitol, you don't have to worry about your sugar intake. Xylitol is so much better for you with that same taste as sugar and no artificial taste like splenda for example (personal experience). It is a sugar alcohol extracted from fibers of many fruits and vegetables.
I'm really looking forward to this summer! all kinds of fruit & jamming to do.
