A Good Friend.

For some crazy reason i decided to fall down the stairs and break my tailbone. So i have been taking it easy to allow it to heal properly.
Now today a little angel payed me a visit with a care package of a couple goodies. I was so happy and surprised! She recently broke her ankle and wanted to share with me what had worked for her to allow her to walk again so quickly. Boy do i love her:) Couldn't thank her enough.

Candy Shop

I introduce to you, Candy Shop by Deborah Lippmann. It's so cute and girly! It's a bubblegum pink with multi coloured sparkles. I've had my eye on it for a while but only by seeing it online. So today I decided to take a look in person. It's darling! I am really glad I got it. There were so many other gorgeous colors too but I will save the browse for my next visit.

Blueberries!

Do you just love blueberries? Because i do! This past summer, we picked them from a field so you can imagine, blueberries galore, you eat more than you pick! So today, i pulled some out of the freezer and made some jam! Nothing special but it sure tastes amazing! On a piece of toast or in a cup of tea...

I simply just added 4 cups of blueberries to a pot, along with 4 tablespoons of xylitol and walla, blueberry jam. Using xylitol, you don't have to worry about your sugar intake. Xylitol is so much better for you with that same taste as sugar and no artificial taste like splenda for example (personal experience). It is a sugar alcohol extracted from fibers of many fruits and vegetables.

I'm really looking forward to this summer! all kinds of fruit & jamming to do.

As my second post, i wanted to share a website i recently discovered. You know how you see that one cool inspiring picture online and you're always saving it to your 'My Pictures' folder... or any quick save, you then don't know which file it went to... and you eventually have 100's of pictures. You also go to look for one in particular and you can't find it... Well let me introduce Pinspire! (a social network based for photosharing) Hence the name, it's your online pin up board for all your inspirations! passions and interests. So instead of saving a picture to your hard drive pin it to your collection! You can even organize them into their own genres.
